Blooming Flowers at the Hub

Just gathering flowers photographically while wandering around the hub and surrounding areas.
Close to the Chaat Cafe provides sooo many chances for great pics with trees providing neat contrast to the setting sun. Birds flying and even landing on the tables outside the Cafe (if you come before the early evening rush) a variety of flowers to be enjoyed between plants and bushes around the area and the Rite Aide display outside the doors of its store.
A great time for pictures and meeting folks and enjoying the setting sun with coffee and/or a great dinner from Chaat Cafe or Noah's Bagles... Whatever makes you happy!

A quick smile

I really like daffodils, and I really like taking pictures. I'm very lucky that my local market lets me enjoy both.
I sometimes take my camera into the market and take pictures in their floral department. (I get permission to do this from the manager. (Seems that most supermarkets have a "No camera" policy, I believe it has more to do with rival companies taking pics of prices than flowers.) but I make sure it's ok for me to be there with my camera.
I often go back with a few of my best pics to share with them as a "Thank you" for letting me play in their department.
It makes me smile. :-)

Well, it's time to find this house again...

It's Somewhere in Willow Glen. Eric's mom and I found it after going to Carol Westlund's fantastic pottery sale and just decided to drive around that area. It's just a magical thing to see.
Carol is fantastic potter and her neighborhood is beautiful. Surrounded by draping trees with vintage and even fantasy-like achritecture, it's just a joy to roll slowly down the surrounding streets and drink in the magic.
